Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Bosch Universal Sensors are far more OE specific than other brands of universal oxygen sensors. This means you will end up with a much higher quality installation of the sensor for your particular motor when complete. This is because Bosch uses a submersible patented connection system that protects against contamination and withstands the effects of extreme temperatures and engine vibration. The Posi-Lock connectors can be unscrewed and reconnected in case of a wiring mistake whereas other sensors use butt connectors that are permanently deformed during crimping, making them unsuitable for re-use. Each Bosch universal heated oxygen sensor is manufactured with a two-foot length of sensor wire to allow maximum replacement of worn wire on the OE sensor being replaced.

5 out of 5 stars Bosch O2 Sensor   September 23, 2008

I have no evidence that the Bosch O2 sensor is either superior or inferior to any other competing brand. Bosch products do have a reputation of being higher-end.This unit came with anti-seize compound on the threads. My only reco to others is to buy the pre-wired (with the connector) version and save time as opposed to saving $. The latter eliminates the possibility of a wiring error, future open circuit, and provides a much simpler r/r. Amazon gave me a good price on the product, lower than local.
