The horspower and throttle response from this simple product is amazing.
The first time that I drove with it installed I was both pleased and scared.
The decible increase from the greatly relieved air flow sounded more like a tuned exhaust system.
The noise increase is only noticible when you use it. Keep your RPM below 2000 or 2500 and you (or no one else) will even know that it is there.
Instilation was fairly simple. A little common sense and review of the photos will get you through any snags.

The Box is 90% of the install. Radiused corners would make for a cleaner and easier install of the rubber seal. Is the seal intended to seal against the underside of hood? Is there a trick to doing this? Quality of materials very good. Increase in performace/mileage is hard to measure. Probably avoiding the "conch shell call" sound means your getting better economy. I miss the cast "Hemi" cover. Likely best unit on market. Necessary? Not really. Fun? Okay.

This intake was fairly easy to install. This site had the cheapest price of any, and I seached for a month while on a business trip. The exhaust note is definitely deeper, not during idle, but during accelleration. Fuel economy increased about 1 mpg on the highway. But it looks great and it is a quality product.

Incredible upgrade for any vehicle. I installed it on my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 (5.7L Hemi),in less then 2 hours with very easy to follow instructions. Increased my horsepower, throttle response and most of all, gas mileage.

Received product faster than was said would get to me. WOW!!! what a difference it makes, FAST FAST FAST acceleration - sounds like a Hemi should!!! Extra power and same fuel mileage in town. Better on highway by about 3/4 - 1 mile per gallon. For that little bit, but get about 8 - 10 hp more is a decent trade off I think. Seller is GREAT SELLER!!!! DEFINITLY RECOMMEND!!!
