Replacing this filter was recommended at 30,000 miles, with a non-dealer charge of around $60 (Dealer charge probably would've been higher).
This item included detailed instructions which made the removal/installation of the filter VERY easy -- it took no more than five minutes. My filter had been in there for 30K miles and 21 months -- it was CLOGGED with debris. Replacing the filter improved airflow and cut down on the crud in the air.
Highly recommend if it becomes available again (I ordered mine 7/6/2008)
