Pulstar pulse plugs improve engine efficiency at the very moment of ignition by increasing the spark volume and energy density. Increasing the energy density of the spark makes ignition more precise with less cycle-to-cycle variation resulting in better fuel economy and driving performance than available from spark plugs.
Increase Horsepower and Torque
Pulstar pulse plugs look and fit like spark plugs, but incorporate an internal capacitor to deliver a spark 10 times more powerful than a spark plug. This faster ignition burns more of the fuel in the combustion chamber, generating more pressure in the cylinder. The increased cylinder pressure pushes the piston down with more force, which in turn, generates more torque to the crankshaft, more liveliness to the throttle, and more power to the wheels.

 Pulse plugs are the wave of the future July 1, 2008
These are one of the best things I've done for my car lately besides FilterMag. Since I didn't reset my cars computer (ECM) by removing the battery terminals it took about a week before I really began to notice the difference. The car runs much better with more power and no hesitation like in the past. I liked these so much I got the DirectHits add-on version for my Harley. Definately well worth the money! ***** rating in my book!

I watched my MPG like a hawk for about 3 weeks before installing these. Now that they are installed I noticed a few things.
1. My car is louder, much louder. It used to whipser, now it growls.
2. My car does get better gas mileage. On inclines where I was dropping to 25 MPG I now maintain at 27. On straightaways I used to hover right around 41, now I stay around 43. On average probably 2 miles to the gallon better.
3. This could easily be personal bias, but I really feel like it has a ton more get up and go now. I can't say for sure how much of it is psychological and how much of it is real, but that is how it feels.
For reference my car is a 2007 Yaris Sedan with an automatic transmission.

I put these plugs on an 03 Acura CL-S 6pd wit 78,000 miles on it. Didn't improve anything. I guess they think it helps gas mileage by making your wallet lighter. Har har har... Stick with OEM.

I put these in my Porsche 2 weeks ago and they are great. Noticable power increase. Waiting for gas mileage results. If you can afford these buy em!

Easy to install. These are very fragile (as stated on the instructions) so don't drop them. Also, they do NOT come pregapped so ensure you gap them according to your vehicle specifications.
After installing these, I immediately noticed that my truck (purchased new in 2005) ran extremely smoothly. After taking it out on the road, the acceleration was incredible. Also, although I haven't filled the tank back up since installing these, I have noticed that my gas needle is falling a lot slower and I already have more than a previous tank's mileage and I still have 1/4 tank left. These have increased my mileage significantly, as well as acceleration and vehicle noise and just the smoothness at which it idles. I have no doubt these will pay for themselves within a year, especially since I'm taking a 4,000 mile trip in two weeks. I hope to remember to update this post with my average mileage, but I know they have already helped. Remember, these may not work on all vehicles the way they have on mine (I have an eight cylinder truck that previously only got 13 mpg) so your mileage may vary:) Good Luck!! They have been worth the cost so far. One last thing - while installing these, remove your negative battery cable to reset the car's computer. Even though I did this, my engine light came on after about 10 miles. After resetting the computer again, I've had no additional problems and don't expect to. It runs great! Oh, now one final thing - don't know if it's still available, but Amazon was offering a $10 discount on the purchase of four of these plugs. I have searched for several months for a deal (yes, even on the popular auction site) and they all were exactly the same price per plug - $24.95. So, if Amazon still has the discount, this is your best deal. Not to mention the FREE SHIPPING!! The free shipping took about seven days to arrive, but it was well worth it as others were charging a lot for shipping these. Best deal I could find!
