Product Description This is an "ester" based, non-petroleum, fuel enhancer. When mixed with combustible fuel it simply allows the carbons to be released more efficiently, thereby providing for a "cleaner" burn utilizing more fuel and less carbon leftovers. This REALLY WORKS! I've been using in my vehicles for over two years and have seen a tremendous difference in power, mileage, emissions, and maintenance. Great for personal, industrial, commercial, and governmental use. We've had about 5% of cars report no or less mileage. This is due to the car's computer readjusting the mixture to make up for the leaner flow. Most people get better results by disconnecting their battery for a few hours to reset the emissions control sensors.

Ethos FR: A lifesaver for older cars!!! September 7, 2008 health guy (Lakeland, FL) I started using this product back in March and have used it ever since because it's nothing short of incredible! I know that some people are skeptics and some don't mind taking their hard-earned money and flushing it down the toilet. It's their choice and I'm not here to do a sales job or a paid testimonial either. I fully agree with Marcus in Long Island who stated that regular use of Ethos has brought earth-shaking improvements for his 1995 car. I agree if you drive an older model car before 2000, it is MANDATORY that you use Ethos. The results you experience once this amazing elixir gets to work on your engine and fuel system will have you saving thousands over the life of your car in gas, oil change, repairs and service costs. I even became a distributor partner for Ethos with another individual after I firsthand had such phenomenal results. This is the next greatest "sleeping giant" and with gas costs steadily rising and the push towards the "green" economy-one helluva business opportunity too. Another side benefit, my off-the-line acceleration and performance went to the next level. Now, I regularly leave other normally faster and more expensive makes of cars in my rear-view mirror at traffic lights with the horsepower on demand I have while still getting an increase in baseline mileage. That's fun as hell too!!! In my mind, Ethos is worth every penny I pay for it and it's a product I can confidently say that I will be buying for many years and realizing an unsurpassed vehicle experience with. Update on Ethos FR use in my vehicle- After 12 tankfuls of running this product, I have a noticed an average 10.6% gain in fuel mileage on my 1998 Honda Accord V-6 EX. I'm now getting 22-23 MPG in mostly city driving with improved acceleration, measurably-reduced auto emissions and better engine performance.
No Mo MPG for Me August 13, 2008 Theodore Kerhulas (Sherman Oaks, Ca United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a very expensive additive to not work at all. After using Ethos in my newly changed oil and gas as directed, there was no mileage improvement after 2 weeks. I checked their website and they say you need to disconnect the battery to reset the fuel sensors. I did this as directed and still no improvement in mileage after 1 month and having spent over $57. on this product. In fact, my mileage decreased by 3 tenths. I wrote to the company who promised a 200% refund if it didn't work. After filling out their refund request, they were prompt in crediting my card 100% of the price. OK, but not what they promised. I had also, in hopes that this would be a panacea for high gas prices, thought about becoming a distributor. I sent in my letter of inquiry and they shot back a letter saying to call and "have your credit card ready." Some business model.
Increased Mileage? Eh. August 12, 2008 Marcus T. Brody (Long Island, NY) I'm not too sure any of you will see a legit increase in gas economy, but anyone who's running an older car, say 10-15 years or more, will GREATLY benefit from using this product. I completely reversed a number of conditions in my vehicle, and my 1995 car runs like it did the day I got it. It's remarkable. I could have paid $2000 for a new tranny, tune up, oil change, etc, and instead, I paid about $40 in Ethos FR and my car's running like it's 1997 again. I don't think this will do much in a new car, but old car, you NEED to be using this product. You'll save thousands in repair bills, and might not need a new car for years and years.
Not really worth the money July 27, 2008 J. Roder (Kalamazoo, Mi) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Tried it and have to say didn't see a difference in the mileage. Just another gimmick for those of us stupid enough to buy it.
Tried and True July 23, 2008 R. Davis (Southern Shenandoah Valley, VA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Skeptically, I tried this product on the basis of reviews from independent forums, reports on contracts with municipal fleets after trial performance periods and the money back guarantee of performance from the producer. After the initial treated tank of gas and crankcase, 1-oz per oil quart, my V6 4-Runner with 112k miles, went from it's abysmal 16 mpg to 18+. Five tankfuls later, the mpg has gone to nearly 22 and is performing on 87 octane better than it had using 89. It translates to +35% improvement so far with improved performance using cheaper fuel. So, a fill @ $4.25 pg. x 18 gallons that costs $76.50 is now costing the equivalent less than $50. In three tanks I recovered my initial purchase cost of three trial size 16 oz bottles and have one full bottle of three remaining. I won't be asking for my money back, since I've already realized it at the pump. I've read that there are apparently some issues calibrating exhaust sensors to some newer, post 2004 models, which can be remedied by resetting the computer by removing the battery cable for a brief period. I don't know how improved the emissions are since I haven't a benchmark to measure. Ethos worked for my gas hog Toyota, it goes in my 24 mpg Audi A6 next.
