Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Use Leatherique Prestine Clean to clean leather after application of Rejuvenator Oil has done its job or as a maintenance cleaner and detailer. After the ph correct proteins and collagens from the Rejuvenator Oil have permeated back into the pours and fibers of the leather, strengthening and nourishing them, the surface may be tacky, sticky, gritty, or have a white haze. This is simply the dirt, grime, air pollution, perspiration, salts and other toxins that have floated out of the leather to the surface

5 out of 5 stars Leatherique is by far the best leather care you can get!   March 17, 2007

By far the best leather cleaner/conditioner I have used! After trying all the common leather cleaners and conditioners you find at auto parts stores up to the best common on the shelf products like Lexol and Meguiar's (both good products), Rejuvenator Oil/Pristine Clean is simply in another league. Instead of leaving behind an oily or tacky finish on the surface that only lasts a few days, this system really gets deep into the leather to strengthen and protect it. In fact because it actually penetrates and soaks into leather, the Rejuvenator Oil (not the Pristine Clean) is the first step in cleaning! Most other products have you clean first then add a conditioner. All this does is clean the surface leaving all that sweat, grit and grime trapped in your leather.

Leatherique's method is different and has you apply the Rejuvenator Oil first to soak into the leather. After it has soaked deep into the pours and fibers of the leather, all the dirt and grime floats out of the leather to the surface. You then clean away all this grime with the Pristine Clean. It really does work! My BMW M3's Nappa leather seats were like cardboard and starting to crack from neglect of the previous owner. Rejuvenator Oil/Pristine Clean has brought my seats back to their original soft supple feel. My interior is the rare Modena, which is a natural tan color (like a baseball glove) and it shows dirt and wear very easily. I get complements all the time now on how good my interior looks. Rejuvenator Oil/Pristine clean has also brought back that wonderful leather smell. Not from perfumes or scent of the product itself but from the actual real leather smell of my seats! Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 stars Lives up to all expectations   December 28, 2006

When I purchased my car, I thoroughly researched cleaners and conditioners to ensure against the cracking Armourall had caused in my previous vehicle. I purchased the Leatherique Conditioner and Pristine Clean after reading about them on the internet (see product description above), and use them according to the directions on autogeek.net.
I use an old sock to apply the oil, park the car in the sun for a day, and then remove dirt and excess oil with Pristine Clean. The oil is used first so that it can penetrate the leather and bring impurities to the surface.
I also tried it on the leather in a ten-year-old vehicle, and with only one use, it made a noticeable difference in appearance. I would imagine that with more applications, the leather would be restored.
As for my car, the Leatherique products have maintained the subtle quality and new-leather scent of my upholstery; I use it about three times a year. I was hesitant to purchase the products because of the price, but I have found they lived up to all the claims. Aside from the quality results I obtain, I also have peace of mind that they will not damage my vehicle.

I purchased a set of Leatherique products to clean and restore the leather and vinyl in my vintage Mercedes. I started with the prestine cleaner product to clean and prepare the dashboard for application of the leather and vinyl dye. I followed the directions provided with the product. It is difficult or impossible to know whether or not this cleaning product did is job because it is only the first step in a process. But I can comment on the dye. I had a couple of small cracks in my dash. The sales person a leatherique recommended I use their crack filler and dye to make disappear. My dash is black, the filler is a white paste. I applied the cleaner, then the filler and sanded. Finally I applied the dye to conceal the white paste. What I found was that the dye is not absorted into the dash, instead it is applied to the surface of the dash, more like a paint than a dye. I waited the suggested 2 days for it to cure. It came out horrible. I spent the next 2 days scraping it off. I complained to Leatherique and they could not understand why I was upset about their dye not being absorbed into my dash, but applied as a film on top of the dash. I guess one of us does not understand the meaning of the word dye. I cannot recommend Leatheriques products or their customer service.
