Well, it ain't perfect and it takes some effort but overall, it works better than any other device I've tried. I'd just like to know the reason that the older you get, the more hair grows in embarrassing places. What? There were no hair follicles in our ears and noses when we were young?

Glad I bought this. Well made and does exactly what it says on the tin. Its better at nose hair trimming than ear hair, but still a good product. Handy size and no batteries required. Very useful, much better than any electric nasal hair clipper I've ever used.

I purchased this nose hair trimmer after doing research on what trimmers most people felt worked best. This was a gift for my husband and so far he has reported that he likes it better than any other nose hair trimmer that he has used so far.
He never looks forward to trimming his hair but according to him this is the first trimmer that he has owned that doesn't pull out his hairs by the roots. I can attest to the fact that usually I hear lots of swearing when he has trimmed his nose hair with other devices. Not so with the Platinum XL. He also likes that it is so compact and easy to clean. I now own what is fast becoming my favorite grooming tool. The scissors and tweezers and crappy electric trimmers that I have used up until now to try and control my nose hair are things of the past.
The Groom Mate XL is a far superior device for trimming nose hairs and it is simplicity at its best. A few simple twists and your nose hair is history and I have yet to rip out any hairs as I have done many times before with the above mentioned torture devices.
This really is a "must buy" for any guy out there that is fed up with having to deal with unruly nose hairs and poorly made nose hair trimming devices. And by the way, the company provided very good customer service to boot.
