 I never thought I'd have to polish a computer, but... September 19, 2008

This stuff actually works OK. br / br /I just got a new Dell XPS 420 with the shiney black finish. Looks great new, but I'd think if I breathed on it too hard I'd scratch it. I got some scratches along the top right edge just from moving a little black box gadget (one with little rubber feet no less) on and off the top of the machine. br / br /So, I decided to experiment with plastic polish. Worst case it doesn't work, and I'm out a few bucks, I thought. br / br /Well, this stuff doesn't make the scratches go away, but it doesn't dull the finish of the computer and it makes the scratches much less visible. In fact, I can now only see the scratches if I look at the machine at a certain angle where the overhead lights reflect directly off the machine. Be careful to only use a clean microfiber cloth. br / br /So, for a few bucks I can keep my new computer looking new. Cool!

Excellent product for polishing clear plastic, headlights and taillights, even used it on my scratched home theater receiver display glass, looks like new, but use a microfibre cloth, so as not to add scratches while polishing.
