Much improved way to check motorcycle tires October 5, 2008 Ron Nameyname (Fort Worth, TX USA) Much easier to maneuver around the disk brake rotors and wheel spokes than other digitals made for the automotive industry. Mine did seem to hang up now and then when trying to remove it from the valve stem, but its not that big of a deal. Probably wouldn't do that if the end barrel was polished metal inside. Instead it's two molded plastic pieces as an extension of the handle pieces.
Poor quility August 29, 2008 D. Hinds Sad to say, this is not a good product. All plastic, difficult to get the head on the stem of the tire. I tossed the unit in the trash and purchase a Sears unit which is far and away better and cheaper. Not the sellers fault, just a badly designed unit.
Great Motorcycle product; hard to find May 14, 2008 P. Emore (South Carolina) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This used to be sold by Sears for $8.95 on sale. Now they only carry the oddly shaped version that is of zero use to many motorcyclists. The only other source that I've found for the real deal, as this is, would be Road Gear and they get about $25-$30 for it. When I found it at Amazon for half that, I did the only sensible thing: I bought TWO of them and placed them in cold storage right away. They are the absolute BEST tool for checking air in standard streetbike rims with the valve stem that points directly at the axle. Can't go wrong, great tool at a great price AND they are available. That may be the biggest plus right there. Phil
