great tool! July 14, 2008 Jerry (Baltimore) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This tire gauge is easy to use with large numbers. It illustrates both front and back tire pressure so you can set both and alternate between as you check your tires. I recommend it highly especially during this time of high gas prices when you want to get the most out of a tank of gas.
Disgusted with products made in China July 5, 2008 Kristi Robinson (Colombia - S.A.) 1 out of 9 found this review helpful
I bought this tire gauge after "trusting" the comments of those whom bought one. Yes, this tire gauge works very well and is simple to use. The instructions are well written and so far I am pleased with my purchase. However (don't you hate the "howevers?")- when you look at this tire gauge and the quality of workmanship - I think it looks "Chinese." I don't have to say anymore...you understand... The battery cover on the back of the gauges is held in place with one cheap little screw and because of this, the cover does not seal completely. I know this is not a "high dollar" item, but Accutire can only take so many negative comments before their reputation is sullied and they are "no more." My last comment is about the paint or silver coating covering the tire gauge. It is cheap and is already wearing off - it came this way right out of the package! If you don't care about the looks and just care about functionability then buy it because it works well.
wasteful packaging June 18, 2008 gochr1s (VA/DC) 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
the product itself is fine, but good lord, i think it's impossible to package it in a LARGER plastic container! these guys are burning Amazon on free shipping...
Didn't work for me June 8, 2008 Harry Drasin (Pacific Palisades, California United States) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
The only thing this product seems to be good at is letting air out of tires. I have been checking tire pressures for almost 40 years and have never used a product this troublesome. For me, this product simply doesn't work. Compared to this product, my old Brookstone dial type tire pressure gauge seems terrific.
Great little gauge May 30, 2008 P. Martin (Iowa) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Great little gauge with a big, easy to read display. It works well, providing consistent readings, and seems quite solidly built. The only flaw I've noticed is it doesn't include a bleed valve or other means to let air out of tires when they're over-inflated. A nuisance, not a show-stopper, but it is a strange ommission on a more deluxe product like this. Even the cheapest pencil gauges include a stud or pointed tip.
