Looking for a specific news release, or all the releases on an individual or topic? You can do a text search of UCLA news releases back to 1997. The "news search" at the top of each page is a text search that looks for all news releases that include the word or phrase you enter. It's a good idea to use quotation marks if you are looking for a specific name or phrase: entering "Research Library" is more precise than entering research library (which is interpreted as "research" and "library").
To refine your search, click on the Full Search link. Using the form, you can select "any of the words" instead of "all of the words" to broaden a search. To narrow your search, you can select a date range. Results are sorted by date, with the most recent release at the top. You can choose to have your results displayed by title, instead of date, listed in alphabetical order. UCLA athletics news releases are not included in the central database. If you are looking for a story about Bruin sports, go to www.uclabruins.com.
