About us
Science Blog was started in August 2002. It lives, breathes and eats press releases from research organizations around the globe. Most of what you read here are press releases from the outfits named in the stories themselves. Got a news story you think belongs here?
Let's talk.
The other half of the equation is
blog posts from readers like you. So if you have an interest in science,

The idea is scary, sinking crop residue into the ocean could cause problems ,and more than likely will, that science can not foresee. Maybe this will put global warming into prospective. The atmosphere is about 384 parts per billon CO2,and the ocean is about twice that amount. Now take into concideration that this is normal. That is alot of co2.
Al Gore based his theory (his fake and made up platform)of Global Warming on a weather
model built by a man three years removed from receiving his PHD. We are simply experiencing weather patters that have gone on for a few thousand years.
So if you really what to screw the ecosystem, then introduce crop residue into an ocean that never had to deal with this before.
