According to the article, NASA "expects SuitSat's batteries to last 2 to 4 days," after which SuitSat and all its costly telemetry will be ablated into oblivion.

Wouldn't it make more sense to increase support for the
OSCAR program? I'm sure the used suits would be absolutely treasured by museums, school and libraries (and even individuals) all over the world, while OSCAR can be tracked, watched, heard and studied by students year after year, not just a brief window and a few orbits.
