. . . SPIN THE DAMN SHIP!

Microgravity is BAD for people, and we don't need to spend any more time or money to keep discovering that. Well, that's not exactly true. Certainly this has medical value, and there will always be some risk of micro-g in human spaceflight.

But the big lesson is this: if you want people to live happily and healthy lives while spending long periods of time outside of planetary gravity wells, you had better start designing vessels that spin to replicate the effects of gravity. The science behind it is simple.
