About us
Science Blog was started in August 2002. It lives, breathes and eats press releases from research organizations around the globe. Most of what you read here are press releases from the outfits named in the stories themselves. Got a news story you think belongs here?
Let's talk.
The other half of the equation is
blog posts from readers like you. So if you have an interest in science,
please register and join others like you in an ongoing, vibrant dialog about what makes the world tick. Meantime, please take a minute to read our
Privacy Policy and Site Disclaimer.
I read Scienceblog in hope of finding articles about science, about discoveries that are interesting, and about things that genuinely educate us.
But I have to tell you, Mr/Ms Editor, you are publishing so much monotonous, uncritical global warming fluff these days, that I can hardly bear it.
There is no consensus on the anthropogenic nature of global warming, and some would say on the existence of global warming itself. Why don't you write about that for a change? As the Eagles once said, why don't you take another shot of courage and dare to be the mainstream scientific publication that puts its readers in direct contact with the anti-global warming opinion? For the minority of us who aren't bullied by Al Gore, we are flabbergasted that the scientific community is in such close collusion with the anti-globalisation forces and societal self-loathing that are ultimately foisting the global warming manifesto upon us.
