any patient suffering from chronic prostatitis without knowing the causative pathogen should consult a urologist. urologist then perform prostatic massage manually through rectum. thus the prostatic secretion secreted after a prostate massage is given to laboratory for culture n sensitivity. therefore results of this culture will show the actual microorganism causing ch.prostatitis and sensitivity results will recommend kind of antibiotics for the treatment . if left untreated, can cause serious complications. plenty of water, fluid, cancerry juice n prostatic massage is suggested.
