What an awesome technological breakthrough. From the article, it seems clear that the possibilities for this architecture are essentially endless, thanks to the open architecture philosophy. I hope systems based on WARP are powering almost everything from wireless internet access to telecom networks... Basically everything the consumer touches.

I'm also simply elated that they chose to keep the architecture away from greedy manufacturers who just want to make mad money from something that should remain as low-cost as possible, opening up the technology to every field, every individual.
