Thanks for the information.

I think you should adjust for inflation before you plot data. It's more informative than saying "it hasn't even kept up with inflation."

Also, you should not use JPEG for plots. As someone who probably makes a lot of plots, you should keep this in mind: PNG for plots or other line art; JPEG for photos or things that look like photos. (PNG will make your plots look better and take up less space too.)
