Ben's opinion in disguise

I just had to leave a comment to applaud your response to Ben, titled, "Ben's Soapbox"! Hysterical! You made some excellent points... He obviously must think 'sufferers' are all nuts... He either didn't really care, OR, pathetically thought he could get away with leaving such a condescending, snide 'request'/comment... so poorly disguised as some sort of attempt to "respectfully" help us... by offering up unsolicited advice on redeeming our sanity via BLOG entries! ??! LOL! Yikes!

Come on! Insulting... so very insulting... Here's the thing, Ben! If you have a certain style of "Blogging" which you prefer others to use.. & the site is your's to patrol... Then, you ought to SIMPLY request that the individual use that particular style in the future... or, advise them to review/re-read the rules and guidlines for your/this site... ( if there are written rules).

There is NO need to imply and/or use the topic one has chosen to comment on as a reason for the oversight in their blogging etiquette. ESPECIALLY when there's so much controversy already surrounding this "ailment"-topic.

Meaning, it almost seems to me that you used such an opportunity to let everyone know, that although people are using the site to talk about, "Morgellons"...it does not mean that YOU think we're all anything less than crazy. Why else would you feel the need to go on & ON about something so insignificant and downright petty? Capital letters?

It sadly amuses me to a certain extent, because I feel that you probably didn't even realize you were doing it. Maybe you should take some time to think about why you felt the need to voice your opinion in disguise as you did? Don't get me wrong, I too, believe in tact... but, that was just insulting. In all fairness, it does seem... that the line between tact and condescending bs is so very fine these days. I do appreciate the fact that you didn't simply spout off crazy jokes in the harsh likes of some. So, for that-thanks.
