From what I understand aids is curable but there is major problems which keep a cure from being massed produced. It is the fact that the aids virus attaches and takes along DNA information with each new person that is infected. Essentially everyone that is infected with the aids virus has different strand of the virus due to the different DNA attached to it. So essentially a different "cure" has to be synthesized for every single person. So unless you have a vast amount of money to pay for a cure to be made for you there is probably no chance that you will soon see a cure. This is something that the pharmaceutical companies and the government do not want you to know.
