Infant formula as Alzheimer's treatment, preventive?

  • Brain and Behavior

Similac, Enfamil and other baby formulas contain DHA, choline and uridine (among a host of other ingredients). Turns out that's just what MIT is studying as a treatment for Alzheimer's symptoms in gerbils.

So here's a couple of questions:

1. Is there a downside to adults consuming a glass of baby formula every day? Some ingredient that'll build up in the liver, say, and eventually make you keel over?

2. Are the levels present in infant formula sufficient to meet an adult's RDA?

3. How can I make a million bucks selling this stuff?
