The FDA now considers lovastatin in RYR to be a drug and therefore supplements cannot legally contain it. They have sent warning letters to 3 manufacturers of supplements found to contain it. Do a search at http://www.fda.gov/ for the details.
This is, of course, only to protect the public, not the drug companies.
