Let me get this straight...

We have spent years developing super strains of cassava to have better nutrition, because a diet of this stuff is making people ill.

There is a plant that would grow there, be resistant to pests, have no poison, and has tons of uses including housing and clothing. Ohh and i forgot the seeds have almost perfect nutrition for humans (including omega 3 and 6 oils, and a exceptional source of protein).

That plant is cannabis.

Oh but we can't use that, because our government tell us that is a evil plant. So we sit in a lab for years while people starve.

Now i don't know what your definition of evil is? My definition would be letting people starve while the government is making sure the people of the world don't get stoned, all so they can feel good about themselves.

Sorry for the rant.
