There are a countable number of plug in hybrids coming out over the next couple years, also i think if we start to use our current electric grid to its full capacity by developing new ways for consumers to use power in the night hours when there is more available.
There is not going to be a large scale answer to our energy problems and i dont think there will be a large answer to the 25x25 but. I do think it will take a shift of consumer thoughts to bring america to aznything near 25% energy independent
One of my ideas is for power companies to sell a discount electricity at non peak hours. This will allow all consumers to think for themselves and come up with ideas that work in their home for energy saving
