Hi guys. Who is posting these "I learned ..." comments? Is this a class project, because I've been deleting them as they don't add much to other readers' experience. Please advise ... Eds

I learned that reasearchers found red colobus monkeys in a park in western Uganda have been exposed to an unknown orthopoxvirus, a pathogen related to the viruses that cause smallpox, monkeypox and cowpox.I also learned The study was had began in 2006 when Colin Chapman, a researcher at McGill University, invited Goldberg to collaborate on a health assessment of two groups of red colobus monkeys in Kibale National Park, in western Uganda. The monkeypox is is like the vaccinia virus, and also the cowpox to us, but not like any of them. The monkeys made some antiboes, but not to all. Monkeypox was cause because of the spread illness from africa, and pet rodents increased the disease. Also I learned that the disease can jump from host to another species under the right circumstances. -Mico/Daryl
