The sun will not die in 800 years. Our sun has about 5 billion years left before its death. And do you think that perhaps gorillas are still evolving and that the recent observations could be evidence of that? In our own lifetime we've witnessed evolution in animals like the Blue Moon Butterfly. It stands to reason gorillas, too, are still evolving...that everything is.
