About us
Science Blog was started in August 2002. It lives, breathes and eats press releases from research organizations around the globe. Most of what you read here are press releases from the outfits named in the stories themselves. Got a news story you think belongs here?
Let's talk.
The other half of the equation is
blog posts from readers like you. So if you have an interest in science,
please register and join others like you in an ongoing, vibrant dialog about what makes the world tick. Meantime, please take a minute to read our

The good missionaries went to the Congo, and it looks like they converted a few gorillas. Joking aside, why do these scientist say gorillas are our cousins? In 10 million years wont a gorilla be a gorilla, and a chimp be a chimp? (Actually, as we only have 800 years to go before our sun dies, this wont be proven). The other day I saw a 6 foot German traffic cop giving a citation. He looked nothing like these cousins. Maybe the anthropologists, instead of following BS dogma, should get off their high horses and admit we are et. see theyfly.com.
