Hate Crimes?

They should be charged with hate crimes for merely expressing their views, regardless of how racist or small-minded they may be? Either you're from Europe or some other totalitarian part of the world where it's "okay" to silence people for their views, or you're from the United States and have absolutely no regard for the First Amendment. These responders, though stupid, never threatened violence of any kind, and yet you want to see them arrested? Careful, because that kind of thinking leads to just one thing: first we're charging stupid people like these with so-called "hate crimes", and once you give the government that authority, maybe something YOU say someday, however innocuous, might be misinterpreted and you'll find yourself in a cell right next to them.

Please people, stop falling back on "hate speech" as a way to silence opinions you don't like. If you don't like what they say, then humiliate them with the facts --- not ask for them to lose their FREEDOMS!
