Fascinating! Thanks for covering this. I wonder how much they know about the asteroid's orbit. Does it orbit the Sun in the same plane as the planets? Where will it go after (and if) it misses Mars? How long does it take for the asteroid to complete an orbit? I guess that's the same as asking, if it misses Mars this time, how long until it comes around again?
