About us
Science Blog was started in August 2002. It lives, breathes and eats press releases from research organizations around the globe. Most of what you read here are press releases from the outfits named in the stories themselves. Got a news story you think belongs here?
Let's talk.
The other half of the equation is
blog posts from readers like you. So if you have an interest in science,
please register and join others like you in an ongoing, vibrant dialog about what makes the world tick. Meantime, please take a minute to read our
Privacy Policy and Site Disclaimer.
As noted in a recent blog entry, I have decided not to engage in discussions of posts like this any longer. My time is better spent on other things.
Don may be a very nice guy and a good person, so this is not personal. But his writings are far from persuasive.
Here's my question to other readers.
What do you find more credible:
Einstein's writings and the resulting theory, plus a century of supporting evidence
or
Hamilton's discussions with odd and poorly defined concepts like "secondary force" with no evidence--or even proposed experiments--to challenge well-established theory?
Until Don proposes a test for his ideas as persuasive as the observed bending of light was for general relativity, I don't see a point in engaging further.
I repeat, this is not personal. It's simply a decision based on the best use of my time at Science Blog.
