It's boiled hulled barley

The grain discussed in the study is boiled hulled barley (not pearled barley). Soak it overnight, then boil with 2x the water. (For example, boil one cup of barley with two cups of water.) 45 minutes or until tender.

I've been eating it for a month and feel great. It's yummy too, and can be made sweet or savory with raisins, nuts, banana, or salsa, spinach, smoked salmon, etc.
