The connection is clear; is particularly dangerous to young children; and extends to what's seen on TV (network and cable.) Advice to Hollywood: Don't tell parents that it's their job to supervise what their children see. It's YOUR job --you're the supplier. And don't defend extreme, protracted and habitual violence as legitimate examples of free speech. If the new Bush Supreme Court gets interested in this subject, you won't like the results. Address the problem -- starting with the acknowledgement that it is one -- while it's still yours to address. l
