That is really interesting. It suggests that dogs are able to think for themselves and not function purely on survival skills. The dogs are able to imitate and recognize the behavior of other dogs to get what they want, and although they are only motivated by food and not something more complex, this research suggests that dogs are capable of thinking. Proving that dogs are smart and trainable on the basis of rewards and survival. Another interesting fact is that the apes remain intent on acting according to what they know how to do and will not imitate one another.
