High density low melting point salts to aid in drilling

I'm curious has anyone looked at the idea of using low melting point salts like zinc chloride at 2.9 g/cc 283 C melting point to fill the drilling holes so that one could drill deeper with less effort. The idea is if the liquid is the same density as the surrounding rock then the walls will not push inwards and because its hot anywise then it stays liquid.Room temperature liquids like acetylene tetrabromide will float aluminum metal but because its organic it would decompose in the heat but its interesting that they do exist.
