I'm no scientist, but I've

Submitted by Anonymous on Mon, 2008-03-31 00:03.

I'm no scientist, but I've been reading everything I can online and trying to help myself. I've seen improvement after taking Tetracycline (500mg/4x day), NAC pills, and Colloidal Silver.

If Morgellons is caused by P. putida CA-3 (one of the big theories, involving oil-eating bacteria invading the body, producing plasticines and carbon tubules, and attracting bacteria-eating pathogens), this is why we may be having trouble getting rid of it (this is a guess):

the bacteria is producing a biproduct called toluene that's very toxic to humans. It also happens to be what I think is attracting the other parasites through chemoreception. It just so happens that Toluene is so hydrophobic, the body can only get rid of it by metabolizing it, which explains the reoccurent nature of Morgellons. Glutathione metabolizes toluene, but is difficult to take as a supplement; so we need to take cysteine, which increases the body's production of glutathione. I don't think it's a coincidence that the most concentrated form of cysteine in the body can be found by breaking down hair ... and hair loss is a major symptom of Morgellons.

Take that for what you will. In any case, I've seen improvement from the Colloidal Silver, lots of Tetracycline and NAC supplements. Email me if you have anything POSITIVE AND HELPFUL to say.
