If this news report is correct they only looked at persons with Schizophrenia for the abnormal proteins. How many in the general population of mentally healthy have some of the protein changes?
The strange thinking and bizarre beliefs like schizophrenia appear in long term users of Qi Gong and Kundalini Yoga. The disease is diagnosed when it effects living situations.
Schizophrenia is a diagnosis in the DSM, nothing more. The first mistake these studies make is to believe that the disorders of the DSM actually exist. They are names for observed behaviors. The authors of the DSM do not know what causes the behaviors.
The problem is that they cannot test the living brains of non schizophrenics.
