Read "The Body Electric" by Robert Becker, published in 1985. Stem cells can be instructed to dedifferentiate in the presence of specific, simple electrical currents introduced into the body possibly resulting in the regeneration of body parts in humans. It's a sad fact that nobody paid attention to him when he published it.
