There used to be an old United Airlines 707 in the park next to the coliseum - been 10+ years since I lived there but maybe they are updating the park with a more exciting example?

You're an idiot. there really is a Blackbird on display in downtown Los Angeles- at the California Science Center. It's an A-12 2-seater...

Actully if you pull it up on google earth it really is there. it is a static display mounted on steel posts.
